Shopping is an absolute must in Glasgow. Not only is it tops for shops but its compact city centre and accessibility make it a great place for as much retail therapy as you like! Giant high street shopping centres such as the ultra modern Buchanan Galleries and the St Enoch Centre to the elegant Italian Centre and Princes Square as well as the speciality shops of the Merchant City. From the streets and lanes of the city’s bohemian West End which are a treasure trove for anyone, to the art shops of West Regent Street where you’ll find some excellent pieces.

It is also worth taking time out from the main streets and shopping malls to explore the antique shops, craft shops tucked away in the area’s markets.

Getting About Glasgow
Once you have arrived in Glasgow, getting around couldn’t be simpler, with many different types of transport available you should feel at ease travelling around.

One of the great ways to see the city is our open top tour bus, taking just over an hour you’ll get a great view of the sights and some fascinating facts! As well as having a reliable bus service, we also have the Subway, plenty of Taxi’s around the City and even a ferry service that goes on the Clyde to Braehead Shopping Centre!
