Leave the M8 at junction 17 merging onto the A82 signposted Dumbarton, at traffic lights turn right onto Great Western Road. At main traffic light junction diagonally opposite the Botanic Gardens turn left onto Byres Road. Turn left onto Cresswell Street, turn left onto Kersland Street, turn right onto Kersland Lane, finally left onto Cecil Street.
From Glasgow Airport/Greenock
On entering the Kingston Bridge keep left and leave the M8 at junction 18. At final Charing Cross (before re-entering the M8) turn left onto Woodlands Road, signposted Glasgow University. At mini roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Eldon Street. Continue forward onto Gibson Street, turn right onto Hillhead Street, left onto Great George Street, finally right onto Cecil Street.
Bus/Train/Underground
Glasgow is very well serviced for public transport and has various networks of city centre bus and taxi firms. Its main bus station, Buchanan Bus Station has many local bus networks as well as national bus routes which are all well signposted. There is also a taxi waiting area. Hillhead Hotel is only a 10 minute trip from Buchanan Bus Station.
